T&C – Going Skischool

1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all offers and services provided by Schischule Going to private customers (consumers). By booking a course, the customer accepts these GTC.

2. Conclusion of contract

A contract for ski or snowboard lessons is concluded either by written confirmation from the Going Ski School by email at the customer’s request, or by placing an order in the online shop with automatic or subsequent confirmation.

The courses booked are non-transferable.

3. Services and course duration

The Going Ski School provides teaching services in the field of skiing and snowboarding. Course times, course duration and meeting points will be announced before the course begins.

  • Private lessons take place in all weather conditions.

  • Group courses start always on Sundays; one entry point is additionally Mondays possible. A later entry is not possible.

  • Adult group courses end on Tuesday.

  • Bambini and children’s courses end on Thursday.

  • In the event of extreme weather conditions or safety risks, the ski school reserves the right to adjust or postpone courses (§8).

4. Prices and payment

The prices published at the time of booking apply. Payment possible:

  • Online (e.g. credit card, instant payment)

  • By bank transfer (advance payment)

  • On site in cash or with common payment methods

Lessons can only commence once full payment has been received.

Information for groups of fewer than 4 people:
The Going Ski School reserves the right to adjust the price, shorten the course or cancel it.

5. Participation requirements & safety

Participation is at your own risk. The customer confirms that they are in good health and have suitable skiing/snowboarding equipment. Wearing a helmet is strongly recommended. The instructions of the teaching staff must be followed.

6. Age groups & group size

  • Bambini courses: from 3 years of age

  • Children’s courses: 4 to 15 years (up to and including 14.9 years)

  • Group size: maximum 8 people; in exceptional cases, the ski school reserves the right to form larger groups.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by the customer must be made in writing:

  • Up to 48 hours before the course begins: free of charge

  • From 48 hours before the course begins: full course fee

  • Exception: In the event of illness or injury, a refund may be granted upon presentation of a medical certificate; a processing fee may be charged.

8. Course implementation & cancellation by the ski school

  • Private lessons take place in all weather conditions.

  • Höhere Gewalt (z. B. extreme Wetterbedingungen, Naturereignisse, behördliche Anordnungen) berechtigt nicht zu einer Rückerstattung.

  • In the event of low participant numbers or for safety reasons, the ski school may adjust, postpone, shorten or cancel courses.

9. Liability

  • Participation is at your own risk.

  • The Going Ski School is only liable for damage caused by intent or gross negligence.

  • No liability for injuries, accidents or damage to personal equipment.

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings will not be compensated.

10. Data protection

Personal data will be used exclusively for course administration purposes. Further details are set out in the Privacy Policy.

11. Image rights

During the courses, photos or videos may be taken for promotional purposes. If the customer does not wish this, they must expressly state this at the start of the course.

12. Applicable law & place of jurisdiction

The law of the Republic of Austria shall apply.

The place of jurisdiction is – insofar as legally permissible – the registered office of the Going Ski School in Going am Wilden Kaiser, Tyrol.
